Byalee Remember is one we will never forget – born more than four weeks premature as a red bag delivery and lived to tell the tale! “Lucky” is a fighter and one to have on your side – and he grew up to be a beautiful mover and a favourite with a lovely temperament. Lucky will be two in just a couple of months – you’ll be riding him next year! He takes after his very talented sire Byalee Romance, son of Australian Grand Prix champion Regardez Moi, and on his dam side, Promise, herself a lovely mare under saddle, is by the imported Grand Prix stallion Richmeed Medallion (dec), out of a Falkland mare who was working at advanced level dressage. Fanfare was herself out of a top eventing Contact mare, Wynella Cinnamon. With Regardez Moi youngsters showing great talent in the jumping as well as dressage arenas, and with Contact and Medallion blood mixed in (Heath Ryan’s Mystery Whisper by Medallion is the world’s youngest 3-star winner), Lucky is bred to win! He is a sentimental favourite at Byalee and we can’t help but hope that he might stay to be ridden here at home.
